Forgiving!

We often develop an attitude toward someone because our hearts tell us we are there when they need us, but it appears they are not there for us. We play out in our thoughts the many times we have been there for them versus the times they were (seemingly) not there for us.

Then, we allow our hearts to become detached towards the person(s).

Hands high those who have been there - done that.

  • Now, might we treat forgiving, not as a one-time event, but as a daily way of life ripening our hearts?
  • Can we care regardless if we receive the same?

  • In other words, can we turn the other cheek?

  • Can doing these things soften our hearts and grow our powers of forgiving?

"I care and give when others do not because it is not about the other person, it is about keeping my soul on point."

Thank you, Minister Freddie Ford, for your words of wisdom.
